Cloud Security Alliance 2019 Boston Chapter Forum
The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Boston chapter is organizing another all-day Chapter Forum for May 21st at Babson College in Wellesley. This will be similar to the event we held in April 2017. CSA is providing a 20% off discount code for ISSA members to use when registering.
The Cloud Security Alliance is proud to host the 2019 Boston Chapter Forum on Tuesday, May 21st, 2019. This educational, one-day forum is expected to draw 200+ information security professionals from the New England area and will address the unique cloud security needs and concerns of the local community. Attendees will hear cloud and security experts explain today’s modern platforms, explore how they can be best used, and share best practices.
The Cloud has been part of the technology landscape for many years and has immeasurably changed our world. And yet, many organizations are still hesitant about embracing it. Recent surveys show security and complexity as the most commonly perceived obstacles. This hesitation is understandable, as cloud technologies and development methodologies have changed dramatically in recent years. But when approached properly, with thoughtful design and a modern security architecture, cloud projects can be enormously successful and beneficial. We believe that things have changed so much that it’s worth taking a step back – back to basics – to review today’s cloud platforms, explore how they can and should be used, and to dispel some myths about what the cloud does (and doesn’t) provide for you.
Time: 9:00am – 5:00pm
