Michelle Drolet is the CEO and co-founder of Towerwall a data security company. She serves as chairperson of the Board of Directors. As one of Towerwall’s resident information security experts, Ms. Drolet assists organizations through the security process to help them protect critical data by the evaluation, establishment, education and enforcement of sound information security, network security and data security practices.
Fred Bowne is VP Information Security, Eastern Bank working on Training and Awareness, IS Policy, Incident Response, GDPR and Risk Management Reporting Automation. Prior to joining Eastern, Fred worked for Citigroup's Information Security group, supporting its Compliance Division, in New York. Fred has also served as the Program Chair for the Entretech forum, a startup forum launched out of North Eastern University Business School focused on commercializing Technology in the academic area, the Cambridge Innovation Center and MIT Enterprise forum. As GDPR will be enforce with few days to go, Fred will share his insights on what the regulation is, when and where will the impact be, and how to prepare for it.
Dan Harple, the CEO of Context Labs, who will speak on Blockchain in Enterprise. Dan has had a seminal influence on the commercial Internet thanks to his pioneering of voice over internet protocol (VoIP), streaming media, and interactive screen sharing/shared whiteboards, in the early ‘90s. Dan was a Sloan Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he founded the new Sloan program called REAL (Regional Entrepreneurial Acceleration Lab). Dan founded Context Labs, which uses big data analytics to describe the growth of innovation ecosystems and clusters. CXL has developed key competencies in deploying blockchain-enabled solutions and highlights the use of blockchain as a component in next gen enterprise platforms.
Sam Curry, Cybereason Chief Product Officer, will talk about the promise of artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science in security. Sam Curry has over 25 years of experience in security with a focus on the intersection of deep technology and solving customers’ problems. As Chief Product Officer at Cybereason, Curry leads product and technology strategy. He has held numerous high-profile roles in the security world and has worked on (US) national defense, public policy and establishing standards and protocols in security. Directions and Parking
Please Note: Visitor Parking is very limited at Eastern Bank. Please do not park in non-visitor spots. We recommend using the MBTA garage across the street in case the visitor parking is full.
Directions to Lynn MBTA Parking Garage- Address: 450 Union St., Lynn. Flat Rate - $4.00 cash
Enter the North Parking Garage on Union St. At the intersection of Broad St. and Union St. The Garage entrance is on your left.
Recommended parking spot: After entering the garage proceed to the third level cross over to the South Garage bear left in a downward direction to the second or third floor. Exiting on the South Staircase you will see Eastern Bank directly across the street. We recommend you use the lighted traffic crossing.
Exiting the Garage: When exiting proceed up the floors and cross back to the North Garage follow the exit signs.
