Value Through Chapters
ISSA is supported by a cohesive network of more than 100 chapters around the world. ISSA chapters offer valuable
education, training and networking opportunities, allowing information security professionals to stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, and to be part of a strong local network of their peers.
Each ISSA chapter has its own board of directors which oversees chapter operations and acts as its membership's voice to the
international association. Regularly scheduled Chapter President and ISSA International Board meetings help keep the lines of communication open between ISSA and its valued chapters.
ISSA membership requires an established chapter if there is one within 50 miles of a member's home or place of employment. A special
Member-at-Large membership category has been established without chapter dues for those members residing outside a 50-mile radius of an ISSA chapter.
Chapters are forming around the world, further expanding ISSA's reach as the association for the leaders in information security.
